After hesitating between rock’n’roll and cinema, Jacques Binsztok started working in publishing in 1977, the punk year! Four decades later and nearly 4,000 books published, he continues with TohuBohu, a small generalist company founded in 2015.
Before that, he was publisher at Albin Michel, Le Seuil, and he has created Éditions du Panama.
Also, he has initiated a joint venture Seuil/Chronicle Books in San Francisco.
